Baro Ki'Teer — also known as the Void Trader — is one of the most anticipated recurring characters in Warframe. A self-styled connoisseur of the exotic and the luxurious, Baro travels the Origin System collecting rare relics, weapons, mods, and cosmetics infused with Orokin Void energy.
He appears at a Tenno Relay every two weeks, stays for exactly 48 hours, then vanishes back into the Void. His inventory changes with every single visit, and some of his most prized items — particularly Primed Mods — can go months or longer between appearances.
Lore-wise, Baro was born on Mars and survived a Grineer attack on his village as a child. His complicated history with the Orokin and his late mother shapes much of his personality — flashy, mercurial, and obsessed with the finer things, but carrying genuine grief beneath the surface. His questline, accessible during his visits, slowly reveals the man behind the merchant.
Ducats are an ancient Orokin currency and the primary payment Baro accepts for most of his inventory. You cannot earn Ducats through missions directly — instead, you convert Prime weapon and Warframe parts into Ducats at special kiosks located at every Relay, right next to where Baro sets up shop.
These missions drop Void Relics when completed with a Relic equipped. Relics contain Prime parts — the raw material you'll convert to Ducats.
Each Relic you crack open gives you a Prime part drop. Common parts are worth 15 Ducats, Uncommon are 45, and Rare are 100.
Head to any Relay before Baro arrives. Find the Ducat Kiosk (marked on the Relay map), select the Prime parts you want to convert, and bank your Ducats.
Once Baro arrives, check his inventory here to decide if the visit is worth spending your Ducats on. Some visits are gold, some are rough — the history page helps you compare.
Every item in Baro's current inventory is rated automatically based on rarity, exclusivity, and how hard it is to get elsewhere. Here's what each verdict means:
Primed Mods, exclusive weapons (Vandal, Wraith, Prisma), and hard-to-find cosmetics. These are the items Baro is famous for. Primed Mods in particular can be months between appearances — if you don't have it, buy it now. Vandal and Wraith variants offer stat upgrades over base weapons and are Baro-exclusive.
Regular mods, sigils, syandanas, and cosmetic items. Worth picking up if you're a collector, if you're early in the game, or if you've been specifically looking for a particular item. Not urgent, but not worthless either.
Items readily available through normal gameplay or the in-game market. Save your Ducats for a better week. Not everything Baro sells is a deal — some filler items appear regularly and aren't worth burning your Ducat stack.
